Information for Critical Keyworkers

Critical Keyworkers Priority List

1. Pupils who have a social worker currently supporting the family through a CP or CIN Plan

 

2. Pupils who have an EHC plan

 

3. Pupils where both parents (or one parent with sole PR) are members of NHS frontline staff such as doctors, nurses or ambulance crew

 

4. Pupils where both parents (or parent with sole PR) are on the critical key worker list and their role is key to the COVID response, Prioritising:

  1. Personnel involved in the vaccination programme, including administrative staff
  2. Fire and Police
  3. Social care staff such as those in care homes, providing home care and social workers involved in safeguarding adults and children
  4. Early years and education staff
  5. Others

 

5. Pupils where either parent is a member of NHS frontline staff such as doctors and nurses

 

6. Pupils where one parent is on the critical keyworker list and their role is key to the COVID response. Prioritising:

  1. Personnel involved in the vaccination programme, including administrative staff
  2. Fire and Police
  3. Social care staff such as those in care homes, providing home care and social workers involved in safeguarding adults and children
  4. Early years and education staff
  5. Others

 

7. Parents who are on the critical keyworker list but are able to work from home.

 

When working through this list other childcare solutions such as grandparents / childcare bubbles or Step-parent’s roles will be explored. Priority will be given to parents who cannot work from home. Parents that can work from home will be given a lower priority than others.
